I’ve been pretty impressed with ValueOpinions online paid surveys so far - they send invitations via email to surveys and tell you how much time it will take and how much they will pay. They sent out one today that was $20, although many are around $3 each. I got a check pretty fast for the surveys I did. Nice for some pocket money in your spare time.

I have found a few survey places online that do indeed pay, and I only post those paid survey places that I personally have gotten payment for the survey or know someone who has been paid. I am a member here and I have been pretty happy so far. None of the paid survey sites that I have found are enough money to make a full time income, but it is some nice spare cash or free gift cards.

Gas prices this week are insane. I reviewed my free rewards programs and found that MyPoints has some free gasoline station cards as rewards including free Exxon, free Arco & BP,  and free Shell gift cards.

If you are not familiar with MyPoints, it is a free reward program that pays you points to get a few emails a week, you click a button to get points. You also get points for shopping taking surveys, and you can get points fast by shopping online. Points add up to rewards of gift cards to about 70 merchants including Amazon, Home Depot, Starbucks, TGIFridays, TJMaxx, Olive Garden, Burger King, Subway, Target, CVS, etc.,  pretty quickly.

I have been a member of MyPoints for years, they are legit and there is no cost. The gift cards are a nice treat for very little effort.
